Moortown

In 1908, the founders of Moortown approached Dr. Alister MacKenzie who at the time, was nearing the completion of the nearby Alwoodley Golf Club. The club invited MacKenzie to design one test hole, known today as ‘Gibraltar’.

The Addington

It’s easy to fall into the trap of thinking that this is a great golf course because it's 'one of those near London'. But The Addington is one of the finest examples of heathland golf, regardless of its location.

West Midlands, England

The Belfry

The Belfry has a rich golfing heritage that includes events such as The Ryder Cup and the British Masters. Although home to three 18-hole courses, it is The Brabazon that has supplied the stage for these great tournaments.
